I have spent my career working at the intersection of people, process and technology.

Beginning in industry I drove significant change efforts which developed my understanding and experience in linking human behavior and organization success.  I expanded those experiences in consulting working with the Fortune 500 as part of a major consultancy, in solutions involving technology implementations, process change as well as programmatic change.

For eight years with a major CRM company, I leveraged my skills as I built and managed a change management practice and training group delivering technology implementations with non-profits.  Critical in all my experience was earning the role of trusted advisor: delivering thorough stakeholder analysis and findings sessions, engaging and coaching leaders and guiding managers to success.

I am driven by the success of individuals and their organizations. I focus on your vision, your needs and support you and your organization as an independent consultant:  free to do what you need to be done.

Relationship Management

I have been successful in change management because I know listening is a paramount skill.  Listening, learning, assessing and building collaborative relationships with client leaders as well as with the middle managers who must deliver the change are critical in designing a strategy and plan to effect change.  Change only works when the organization is involved in the change and a pragmatic change plan is sensitive in execution to an organization’s unique values and culture.

 

Leadership and Team Development

Collaborative by nature, I believe sharing my experience and knowledge builds trust and aids the relationship component of change management as well as growing the skill sets of my team.  I am easy and approachable in style but comfortable in challenging others as well.

 

Analysis, Strategy and Execution

I have lead many assessments and discoveries of complex organization environments for implementation of best practices, process change and new technologies supported by effective change.  In each case, I built strategies for engaging leadership, guided measures of success and supported the communication planning and training to achieve the required change.

Training and Communications

I have led and managed a large training and education team, taught college classes and guest lectured at Universities. “The problem with communication is the assumption that it has taken place.”  In many projects over many years I have developed and coordinated communications efforts.

My professional experience grew my ability to thrive in challenging environments while exhibiting excellent analytical, communication, collaboration, change management, leadership and relationship building skills. This background gives me the knowledge and expertise needed to have a positive impact on a change in your organization.
